Where and when will my poster presentation be displayed?
Each poster is scheduled to be on display for one day of the conference, in Salon D. There are two scheduled viewing sessions on Wednesday and Thursday, and one on Friday. To find out your poster board number, refer to the following daily presentation schedules:
Wednesday 9:00AM-9:45AM and 5:00PM-6:15PM
Thursday 9:00AM-9:45AM and 5:30PM-6:30PM
Friday 8:45AM-9:45AM
What will I need to set up my poster presentation?
The boards are free-standing with cork backing, and push pins will be provided to adhere posters to the boards. No other type of backing on your poster is necessary, and we ask that you kindly leave the push pins on the board after removing your poster. Because of space constraints, no furniture (tables, chairs, etc.) can be placed in the poster board display areas.
What size should my poster be?
Posters cannot be any larger than 4 ft. high x 8 ft. long, and one poster will be on each side of a board.
How will I know where to set up my poster?
Poster board numbers will be on all the boards (A-Basic Science; B-Clinical Research; C-Health Services; D-Research Methodology; E-Education/General). A link to a map of the Salon showing the layout will be forthcoming.
What if I've forgotten the assigned location for my poster?
Please refer to the daily schedules (linked above) which include each poster’s board number.
When can I set up and dismantle my poster?
Set-up is allowed only between the hours of 7:00am and 8:00am on the day you are scheduled to display. All posters must be taken down on the same day of your viewing between the hours of 6:45pm and 8:00pm. On Friday, posters must be removed by 5:00pm. The conference coordinators will not be responsible for any posters not removed by the times posted.
How can I locate the full-text abstract of a poster presentation?
Abstracts will be printed in the May/June edition of the journal Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine. Please refer to the daily schedules, above, to find the page number for specific abstracts. Abstracts will also be available online.
